Stott Pilates
In a Stott session you feel the work in the small muscles first: deep abdominals waking up, ribs settling, shoulders dropping. It’s a modern, anatomical refinement of classical Pilates, developed by Moira and Lindsay Merrithew. The reason your instructor can place a cue so precisely is the licensing track behind it: weeks of intensives and supervised teaching hours before anyone is allowed to teach a single client. Yeonhee trained in this method first, and it’s still the spine of how she teaches.
Best for
Posture work, post injury recovery, dancers and athletes, and anyone whose body needs precision over intensity.
